I have a feeling that one day this country is going to reside in a mess as we understand our true values?

The gap between the poor and the rich is widening, if iam to draw a graph of economic progress vs time then it looks like we are at the end of progress. We might as well just pack it up and call it game over. This has kept me convinced that politics can not really solve our problems. Its time we turn to science, the only discipline that says, if there is no housing, build more houses and if there is no food, grow more crops rather than cut the number of libraries, civil services, education grants, transport, heath services, this is mass madness we maniacs. is it possible to start a party "scientific democracy"?
