How to stop ads on youtube?

in the middle of a video there is an audio ad that goes on for ever, there is no ad i can see, but it happens every video i click on, how do i stop this? it is getting very very annoying, trying to listen to a video then a lysol audio ad blares at you. please answer, best answer!
